testimonials IIIWith no warning I started getting symptoms such as shortness of breath, was very lethargic, shaky, choking feeling, feverish, twitches in eye which would go on for days, unable to sleep & anxious all the time. I went to the doctors & she suggested I have a blood test to see what is going on. Two days later I received a call from my doctor which confirmed I had an Over Active Thyroid, which is common in women. I had to start taking medication each and every day. The medication took 6 to 8 weeks to work. It felt like the longest 8 weeks of my life. During this time I had to have a weekly blood test to check my Thyroid reading was going down. After 3 months my results were at a normal level, so my doctor recommended that I stop taking the medication I was on. Within one week I got all my symptoms back & got into such a panic state that I started getting panic attacks. The panic attacks were happening 6 times a day. I felt very stressed all of the time about when I was going to get the next one (panic attack). This was a vicious cycle I couldn’t go to work as I wasn’t sleeping and was extremely tired. I was scared to go on the train or for a walk or to the gym which was the activities I would normally do. The anxiety was taking over and I didn’t know what to do. I went back to the doctors and she put me on a different medication for the anxiety which would calm me down. I went for a walk with my sister and discovered “The Natural Approach Healing Centre” in Moonee Ponds. We walked in and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I explained what was happening to me and one of the staff members showed me relaxation techniques and performed Bowen Therapy which releases tension from all your pressure points. This was a great help and they also suggested I try an essential oil which I like to put in a burner to burn at night 30 minutes before I go to bed and this would relax me. I did this for weeks and it really helped me sleep better. I made an appointment to see Cas Willow for Counselling as my doctor suggested this would help. My Thyroid was now at a normal level but I was still in a state of panic. From my first session I felt very comfortable. Firstly we practised breathing and relaxation techniques and encouraged me to go for a walk 20 minutes each day. I also kept a Journal to record my feelings and what happened each day which we would discuss in the next session. Cas also gave me hand outs with examples of what to do for home work which helped for example… Plan each day one thing to do something for myself which makes me feel good. Like taking baths, reading, listening to music, or put on a face mask. Before I knew it I overcome my fears and went back to work. After only a few weeks I felt that I had more energy so I went back to the gym slowly. I would recommend Cas without a doubt and I now know more about myself than I did before. thanks to Cas. She helped me get my life back on track.

EP Melbourne

When I was in the depths of my anxiety I perceived that I was in it for good.I felt as though there was no way out of what for me was very debilitating. I felt lost and trapped. I was fortunate to meet Cas whom I decided I would trust to help me out of my predicament. Cas professionally and gently supported me through the process. In my counselling sessions with Cas, as I addressed my concerns and worries, I gained the confidence I needed to let go of my fearful thoughts. I am now in control of my thoughts and emotions. I have become more positive and relaxed as an individual and hence become a calmer person. Thanks to Cas’ care and guidance I am now challenged to a better way of life. THANK-YOU CAS.
